I Went to Recess Today!

Hey y'all!!

So today was like the best weather day ever... at least since a long time. Chicago was hit hard this winter, and it was a cold one. We actually had two days off of school this year because it was TOO cold to go to school!! Nuts!!!! So, we've needed a break.

Today however ROCKED!!! I actually went outside for recess!!! I swung on the swings, and I ran around with my fifth graders, and I chatted with my friend Courtney (the T.A.), and I loved every minute of it! However, when I came inside and got ready for my next class to come in, we had one of our kids break their arm and had to hold classes for a while.... yeah... not cool... All in all though, it was a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!

I am off now to Barnes and Noble and the outdoor mall near me to get a few books and to continue enjoying the lovely fresh air! I'm sure I'll chat with some of you later!
