All right, so I was skyping with my new BFF and realized that I hadn't thought about my other fav. show, Gilmore Girls, in a while. I was seriously against this show when it first aired, because I was anti-WB, so didn't give it the time of day. However, my dad... yes... my dad said that it was actually good and lent me a season. Lent me a season which I proceeded to watch in the span of not even a week, with no breaks in between. This is a show that you need to put on your Netflix because you have to have a brain to watch it... in fact if you don't find it funny, there might not be a brain in there, cause the amount of pop, literature, and music culture references in it is insane! So, here are some of my favorite Gilmore Girls quotes, to get you all interested....
Richard: Only prostitutes has two glasses of wine at lunch!
Emily: Well then, buy me a boa, and drive me to Reno, cause I'm open for business!
(Season 5)
Lorelai: Stop saying mother like that...
Rory: Like what?
Lorelai: Like there's supposed to be another word after it
(Season 1)
Lorelai: Someday, when you're a little older, you'll be introduced to something that is extremely seductive but fickle. A fair weather friend who seems benign but packs a whallop like a donkey kick, and that is the Long Island Iced Tea. The Long Island Iced Tea make you do things you normally wouldn't do, like lifting your skirt in public or calling someone you normally wouldn't call at really weird times.
(Season 2)
Lorelai: I had a dream about him the other night.
Rory: Really? ... Dirty?
Lorelai: No. Absolutely not. And when you're 21, I'll tell you the real answer
(Season 1)
Lorelai: Give me a burger, onion rings, and a list of people who killed their parents and got away with it. I need some heroes.
(Season 4)
Logan: Rory, you're special....
Rory: Like "stop eating the paste" special??
(Season 5)
Okay, that is just some of the happiness that you can find with Gilmore Girls. And if you are a Lucas and Peyton fan, you may highly enjoy the relationship between Luke and Lorelai in this lovely little show... very similar... Anyways... Netflix please!!!

ahhh I loved that "killed their parents and got away with it...I need some heroes" line! Did you hear Lauren Graham has a new sitcom coming out? Back in the GG days I pretty much wanted to be her. All the scenes with her and the hotel entourage are priceless.
