Me: Oh My Gosh!!! You watch that show??!!
Her: I have 1-5 on DVD, but I don't watch it when it airs, so I haven't seen season six...
Me: WHAT!!!???? That's crazy!!! I LOVE season six!!!
... and then it happened... and I apologize to any that I offend by my reaction...
Her: Yeah, I'm a real big fan of Lucas and Brooke.
Me: .... silence... ::as I cover my face with my hands and begin to shake my head::
Her: What?
Me: Seriously... you are a BRUCAS person?? I don't think that I can talk to you anymore!!!
... however I did talk to her the whole way home, in attempts to convince her that Lucas and Peyton were by far the best relationship on the show... duh!!!! She would not be converted though... no, she wouldn't waver from her idea of the Brucasness...how can I help her get back on track!!!??? Her only redeeming quality was that she liked Jake and Peyton (which I have always said would be my second pick for Peyton)... My goal is to get her to watch season 6 and convince her that Leyton is where it is at.
Any converts out there that can help me help my friend see the light!??

I want to hear her line of defense! Also, since they're not a real-life couple anymore and haven't been for a while how can she want to see that on screen? It's just weird to me!
