Favorite Songs of Season 6

So, I was told that I need to do more of these, so I'm totally going to do it... in order of my favorite seasons, which means that season 6 is first... (can you tell that I'm a Leyton Fan?)

Look these songs up and love them as much as I do... again, listen to the words, become obsessed with the songs and then watch the scenes again, cause it makes it sooo much better.

So, the "slam dunk" songs of season 6 are..... (in no particular order, but actually by episode)... thus far:

1. "Forevermore" - Kate Herzig
When Jamie and Peyton/Lucas were jumping on the bed in 6X02. The perfect carefree song that reminds me of playing those hand clapping games while I was on the playground in elementary school... which is why it fit for their jumping!

2. "Memories (All We Need)" - The Sequel
In the classroom when Haley asks the kids to write about Quentin in 6X03. Beautiful words in this song.

3. "Quiet in My Town" - Civil Twilight
Said this one before, but again, amazing lyrics and song for Quentin's funeral in 6X03

4. "Said and Done" - Meiko
Peyton talks to Mick. The song is a great song, and Meiko has an awesome sound!

5. "No Envy, No Fear" - Joshua Radin
Said it before, but AWESOME lyrics. If you haven't downloaded this song that was played in 6X05 yet, you can't be my friend anymore! It's AWESOME!

6. "Standing Still" - Buddahead
When Peyton/Lucas call a truce in 6X07 and Owen comes back. Great sound to this song, and good lyrics as well. The guitar in this pretty much rocks around 3 minutes...

7. "Lifeline" - Angels and Airwaves
Great ending Coda Song of episode 6X10.

8. "I Don't Feel It Anymore (Song of The Sparrow)" - William Fitzsimmons
Oh Fitz... how we love thee. Great vocals with such a simple background to bring it all together. From a Mouth and Millie scene in 6X13.

9. "Been a Long Day" - Rosi Golan
The famous (now) tummy kiss scene in 6X13 with Lucas and Peyton, and Nathan talking to Haley and Jamie... good times.

10. "Bust a Move" - Young M.C.
Best dance scene on ANY show EVER!!! 6X14 karaoke scene with Nathan/Chase and Jamie/Andre.

Okay.... sooo... I lied, cause I said ten, but I need more... so I'm gonna give you a few more that you MUST check out!!!

11. "Hazy" - Rosi Golan feat. William Fitzsimmons
Rosi and Fitz deliver yet again, with a beautiful song. Used in the coda of 6X14 when Lucas/Peyton are sleeping and Nate and Luke are having their little walkie talkie moment...

12. "Once When I Was Little" - James Morrison
Coda of 6X15 when he gives Peyton the REAL ring... GREAT times.

13. "You Found Me" - The Fray
If there ever was a complete perfection in television and music it would be the placement of this song, which is in 6X16 when they are doing the table read, Lucas comes to the ultrasound, and Julian shows Brooke what she is to him now.... :' ( tear...

14. "After Afterall" - William Fitzsimmons
I lied again, because maybe this was the complete perfection of tv and music. 6X17, Lucas and Peyton scenes about baby LP. Amazing lyrics and unbeleivably fitting for the scenes.

15. "Never Say Never" - The Fray
Ending coda for 6X18. Seriously listen to the lyrics of this song and they will make you happy. Absolutely beautiful.

16. "Save You" - Matthew Perryman Jones
Coda for 6X19, with the baby's memory box.

17. "I Came Around" - Amie Miriello
Amie is absolutely awesome!! The song was in the very beginning of 6X20 and really has a great tone and beat to it. I still can't place her voice, because it sounds comforting and familiar yet still edgy and new. CHECK IT OUT!

18. "Angel" - Kate Voegele
I've been avoiding the Kate songs because she's like on the show, but this song was soooo fitting in 6X20. And in the end when Haley has her moment it is perfect as well.

19. "All in My Head" - Nick Lachey
I admit that I was tapping to this song... even though I was kind of anti Nick on OTH... liking the song though. From 6X21

20. "Pictures of You" - The Cure
Though I really didn't care for the flashbacks in 6X21, I did like this ending Coda song with the PRESENT day Lucas and Peyton lovin'. And it's The Cure... regardless of what Lucas thinks... they kind of are a big deal.


OKAY, I'M DONE!!! Look all 20 up please!!! I'm sorry that I couldn't just limit myself to 10... nearly impossible. But yeah, those are my favs, so check them out!
