So, I LOVE the summer... However, I have to say that the only thing bad about summer is trying to fill your day with things. Today, I filled it with Desperate Housewives (I had to catch up), Brothers & Sisters (another catch up), getting some more music, a couple movies, and reading!!!
Now my SBFF, Kaitlin, and I started a book exchange, in which we send each other books, and the one that she first sent me, Sister Mine by Tawni O'Dell was pretty sweet. It had lots of unexpected twists and turns that I liked and a few moments where I was screaming at the book... but anyways, there were a few quotes that I wanted to share from it, but make sure you go check it out!!!
"'A man spends his whole life trying to prove his worth to others. A woman spends her life trying to prove her worth to herself.'"
and
"I stopped thinking about the big picture a long time ago. I only think about the individual drops of paint and how to maintain the integrity of each color before it hits the canvas."
Good... right?? Go get it, and let me know what you think.... and THANKS KAITLIN!!!

I recommend all of Tawni O'Dell's books...about a decade ago her novel called Back Roads was in the Oprah Book Club. No bigs.
